How can a sustainable brand like Patagonia encourage people to waste less?
Patagonia Brand Value:
Prioritize protecting the planet: reduce impact, support regenerative practices, engage with grassroots organizations, and fight for the ecological health of lands, water, and air.
Strive for equity, fairness, and anti-racism within the company and the broader community. Acknowledge historical injustices, confront biases, and build inclusive structures.
Build the best possible product—practical, versatile, long-lasting, repairable, and recyclable. Their ideal is that a product “gives back to the Earth as much as it takes.
Why composting?

Composting bins help reduce the amount of organic waste sent to landfills. When organic matter decomposes in landfills, it generates methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Composting at home diverts this waste from landfills, reducing methane emissions.
