Questions about making a Diadora product for marathon athletes

How can we evolve our athlete?

How can we turn them into a “cyborg“?

What to do to help our athletes balance and keep pushing?

Pass a Personal Records

Can we affect their food positively?

Something athletes can use for recovery?

Train explosive?

Training control?

Something athletes can use for recovery?

Train resistance?

Making them feel better throughout the day?

I attempted to address the aforementioned issues through biomimetic design approaches.

Among them, I chose a piece of athletic wear that cools down by absorbing sweat.

To ensure the success of this project, I discovered this nano-scale material capable of absorbing water and lowering temperature. I then focused my research on identifying sweat-prone areas of the human body to apply this material.

Then I conducted a more detailed study on the areas where people sweat while running marathons.

I used the material I researched on where athletes sweat the most during marathon.

Storyboard

Since the LA Olympic Marathon is in 2028, I researched the color trends for 2028.

Then used my research on color choices

I selected my preferred color as the final product color.
